The Portrait Project

 

I'm so proud to announce our latest endeavor. The Portrait Project the idea is simple use photography to inspire encourage and uplift those who are striving for change in their life. So on October 3, 2010 I will be photographing families associated with Dignity House in Philadelphia. Dignity House helps families get back on their feet. So we've schedule a day to pamper, photograph and print portraits of these families. I believe photography has power. We're also looking to exhibit these portraits and celebrate the families involved. This is a joint effort with fellow photographers, make up artist and more. Another fun couple with a twist!

Hello family,
I recently had an engagement session. The couple wanted to combine the engagement session with a family session and they requested it be outside. Usually this can be challenging especially when it's a toodler involved. So needless to say I was expecting a challenge. It turned out to be any but challenging, the toodler was a dream to work with and VERY! photogenic. I was so excited because I new this was going to be great stuff. So here are a few pics from the session.

Steve & Nicole Crazy, Sexy Cool

Steve and Nicole's wedding was crazy, sexy and cool. They were down for everything. They jumped, ran, skipped, danced and laughed. The entire bridal party let loose. It's so important to take into consideration who you include in your bridal party. Dead beats will equal dead beat pics. Later in the blog I will talk about what it means to be a modern bride. It was very apparent Nicole figured it out.

Wow! What a great time with a couple willing to try about anything. Now this was fun. I just love it when a couple comes to the studio wide open to the craziest ideas.

Fay & Will

This couple was the best. Lots of energy, great ideas and crazy in love. There's nothing better than a couple that is willing to do almost anything in order to get the right shot. It was such a pleasure to work with a couple that matched my passion. We spent the entire day shooting around Philly. We shot in some very non traditional spots (that will remain secret). I can't say enough about Will and Fay. Checkout a few of the pics from our all day session.
